In 2021, the “Top Ten Student Volunteers” of Shanghai Jiao Tong University was officially released. Miao Miao, a graduate student of 2020 in School of Nursing, won the title of “Top Ten Student Volunteers in 2021” of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Miao Miao is enthusiastic about serving the surrounding students around her and the society. In light of people’s demands, she plans and launches the corresponding volunteer activities and contacts them with her enthusiasm and sincerity. She shows the student figure with “light in the eyes, ambition in the mind and talent in the brain as well as love in the heart” of nursing department, Shanghai Jiao Tong University through fulfilling volunteer’s spirit in various volunteer activities.

Miao Miao, having joined the Communist Party of China in December 2018, now serves as the Organization Member of Graduate Branch of the Nursing Department, Shanghai Jiao Tong University of the Communist Party of China and once as Party Branch Secretary of the Eighth Branch of the Master’s Degree of the Nursing Department of Shanghai Jiao Tong University of the Communist Party of China. Besides engaging in busy schoolwork, she also participated Shanghai International Marathon volunteers for three years in a row and took care for AIDS group as well as joined in hospital’s medical guidance volunteers for several times. She took part in Expo volunteers for two consecutive years and excellently finished various tasks of home guests reception that received praises from provincial and municipal leaders. In November 2021, the graduate student Miao Miao served as temporary volunteer Secretary of Party branch of the Fourth China International Import Expo, medicine department. In the face of difficulties, she was imperturbable to comfort the team’s emotion and lead the “Little Leaves” members to overcome the hardships. The tacit cooperation and communication of disposing the difficult problems made them receive thank letter from Tianjin Trading Group and praises from all works of the Expo. What’s more, she also leaded the Party members and activists of joining Party to launch the volunteer activities and took care of student’s demands as well as performed the service awareness among the masses. Expect the large-scale volunteer activities; she also utilized the professional character of nursing department to attend life caring, community common sense popularization and other activities to contribute her own strength to China’s strategy with a bit. She also positively answered the call of Party branch and take actions to give play to the pioneering and exemplary role of young Party members and set an example for young people, and continued to strengthen the influence of the Party branch, drive a large number of students to join the cause of national health, warm the masses with profession, brighten youth with dedication, and brighten life with struggle.
