Biography

• Tang Yousheng, male, born in 1948, professor, master supervisor. He graduated from Shanghai Second Medical College in 1975 and joined the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral and craniofacial Department, Ninth People's Hospital in the same year. In November 1995, he was promoted to chief physician and professor. From 1994 to 2008, he was the deputy director of administration of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

• Professor Tang Yousheng specialises in the treatment of maxillofacial trauma and defects, and the treatment of dentomaxillofacial deformities. He also has expertise in the treatment of snoring and OSAHS. He has published more than 100 papers and participated in the writing of 9 books. He was awarded “the Second Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress” in 1995, “the Second Prize of Shanxi Science and Technology Progress” in 2001 and “the Third Prize of China Medical Award” in 2002. He has been awarded the title of “Outstanding Young and Middle-aged Scientist” and the First "Top Ten Medical Staff" of Shanghai Second Medical University for many times. Since 1997, he has been entitled to a special allowance from the State Council government.
