Research Interests

• Prof. Zheng has been engaged in the clinical and basic medicine research on autoimmune and inflammatory diseases for a long time, and has concentrated on the application of translation. In the past more than 20 years, he has being dedicated to the research of psoriasis, focusing on the mechanism, detriment, prediction, triggers and prevention of psoriasis relapse. He has published nearly 100 papers, which 26 of them related to psoriasis research in peer reviewed journals including Immunity, Journal of the Investigative Dermatology, Journal of American Association of Dermatology, British Journal of Dermatology and so on as the first or corresponding author. He is the chief editor of the national medical textbook "Dermatology and Venereology" and former president of Chinese Society of Dermatology. At present, he has been supported by one key project and one international cooperation project from National Natural Science Foundation of China. He is applying for several patents and 2 of them have been approved.
