Biography

• Dr Wang is the Division chief of Nephrology in Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital.  Currently, he is a Professor of medicine at Shanghai Jiaotong Univertsity. He is the President of Shanghai Society of Nephrology; the vice president of Shanghai Medical Doctor Association；the member of Chinese Society of Nephrology; the Board Member of Chinese Society of Hemodialysis. He is funded by multiple National and provincial grants and has published more than 150 papers in the peer-reviewed scientific journals. His major research areas include the pathogenesis and clinical study of diabetic nephropathy, acute kidney injury and its prognosis, the prevention and treatment of chronic kidney disease and its complications.
