Biography

• Chen Fang, Secretary of the Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital Committee of the Communist Party of China. He got his Ph.D from Shanghai Second Medical University in 2004. He is currently a standing Committee Member of Pediatric Surgery Branch of Chinese Medical Association, a supervisor of Shanghai Hospital Association, an editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Pediatric Surgery and Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration.

• Dr. Chen mainly engaged in the clinic and research in urology, including pathogenesis of congenital urinary malformations, urinary system organ reconstruction, tissue engineering, etc. He ranks at the leading level in the management of complex genitourinary malformations, including hypospadias, bladder exstrophy and epispadias, cloacal malformations, etc.

• Dr. Chen has led a research team and finished over 15 projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, scientific research fund and talent construction projects of the Ministry of National Education and Shanghai Municipal Government. He has 4 licenced patents of invention and utility model, and has published more than 100 papers in Chinese and foreign academic journals.

• Dr. Chen has won the Special Government Allowance of the State Council, the Shanghai Medical Leading Talent Plan, the title of Shanghai Excellent Discipline Leader, the Science and Technology Innovation Award of the Chinese Hospital Association, the Song Ching Ling Pediatric Medicine Award, the Science and Technology Progress Award of the State Education Commission and the Ministry of Health, the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the Strongest Leadership Prize for Chinese hospital administrators(13th),etc.
