Dr. Jiang is a nationally recognized expert in traumatic brain injury (TBI). His expertise includes cerebral protections following TBI and RCTs of the management for severe TBI as well as surgical treatment for patients with TBI and stroke. Dr. Jiang has formulated 12 guidelines/consensus, which greatly improve the outcome of severe TBI in China.

Dr. Jiang has some important national and international professional positions, includiing Executive committee member of World Federation of Neurological Surgeons (WFNS), president of International Neurotrauma Society, president elect of Asia-Pacific Neurotrauma Society, President of Traumatology of Chinese Medical Association.
