Biography

• Prof. Zucheng Wang was born on March 6, 1941, and graduated from the department of clinical medicine, at Shanghai Second Medical University. Prof. Wang was the former president of the Shanghai Mental Health Center, former vice president of the Chinese Mental Health Association, former president of the Shanghai Mental Health Association, honorary president of the Chinese Mental Health Association, and vice chairman of the Shanghai (retired) Senior Experts Association Medical Committee. His research specialty includes clinical psychiatry, Morita therapy and Naikan therapy, history of psychiatry, and pathography.

• In 2004, he won the Morita Masama Award. In 2008, won the title of Advanced worker of China's old science and technology. In 2011, he was awarded the title of Outstanding Psychiatrist of China. In 2012, he was awarded the Outstanding Psychiatrist of China by the Chinese Psychiatrist Association. In 2015, he won the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Chinese Mental Health Association and the Special Contribution Award from the Behavioral Medicine Society of the Chinese Medical Association. In 2016, he won the Lifetime Achievement Award for Chinese Naikan  Therapy. In 2017, he won the Morita Therapeutics Expert with outstanding contributions in China. In 2018, he was awarded the Advanced Individual of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 2019, he was awarded as the Advanced Individual of the Shanghai Health system. In 2021, he was named China's Advanced Senior Worker of old science and technology.
