Biography

• Professor Huang is a well-known medical geneticist and the Lifetime Tenured Professor at Shanghai Children's Hospital, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She has made outstanding achievements in the fields of genetic diagnosis of genetic diseases, gene therapy, stem cells, and transgenic animal research.

• Professor Huang has published over 300 research papers and received more than 20 awards from the State, the Health Ministry, and the Shanghai Municipality. Her achievements have been awarded by the academicians of the two academies as "China's The results have been awarded as "Top Ten Scientific and Technological Advances in China" by Academicians of both academies. She is the recipient of National Female Pacesetter Award , National New Century Women Inventor Award, Shanghai Model Worker, "100 Outstanding Contribution Women in Shanghai in 60 Years of New China" and the Shanghai Magnolia Ladies Achievement Award.
