Research Interests

   Our research group focuses on neonatal infection and breast milk:

  Neonatal infection:

1. Our research group emphasizes on exploring the relationship of lipid metabolism and severe infection in neonates in order to reveal mechanisms that underlie severe infection in neonates, aiming at establishing an early diagnostic model to improve the identify of neonatal sepsis.

2. We also work on the pathophysiology of congenital CMV infection in neonates.

  Breast milk:

• Our research group aims at identifying the active nutrients and immune components of breast milk, and to explore the mechanisms of how breast milk contributes to growth and immune systems of neonates.
