Research Interests

• Cardiovascular disease is a life-cycle disease that seriously affects people’s life quality. Our research group concerns about congenital heart disease (CHD) which is caused by various factors, especially genetics. We are devoted to identify the molecular mechanism of CHD, such as the essential transcription factor regulatory network involved in the abnormal development of endocardial cushion, heart valves and vasculature etc. Additionally, cardiovascular disease in adults has also attracted our attention. Myocardial infarction, pulmonary arterial hypertension and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, of which the cardiovascular remodeling play pivotal roles in the pathogenesis and repair process. Then, the transcription factors implicated in this process were also explored.
