Research Interests

• Prof. Ding is the deputy administrative director of Cardiothoracic Surgery Department (China national key clinical specialty) of Xinhua Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University, School of medicine. He is the national member of the minimally invasive surgery committee of the National Cardiovascular Expert Committee and the member of Shanghai Cardiovascular Surgery Professional Committee.

• The major research directions of Prof. Ding are as follows:

1. Surgical treatment of structural heart disease and myocardial protection.

2. The mechanism of occurrence, development and surgical treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.
