Research Interests

• I am a medical oncologist and the physician-in-chief in the Department of Oncology at Xin Hua Hospital, an affiliated medical center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Since the completion of my Internal Medicine training over 20 years ago, I have specialized in Medical Oncology, mainly in Gastrointestinal and Thoracic Oncology. I also trained in laboratory research during my Ph.D. and post-doctorate work and have been training post-graduate students in oncology for more than ten years. My research interests focus on tumor biology, clinical research and investigating novel anticancer agents including certain chemicals derived from traditional Chinese medicine.
