Research Interests
We are aimed to take advantage of genetically engineered mouse models (GEMMs), patient-derived xenograft (PDX) as well as organoids system derived from clinical specimens and mice, which are considered to recapitulate critical aspects of tumors, including tumor initiation, progression and therapeutic response, allowing us to provide the landscape insight of essential molecular events of certain key driver oncogenes/suppressors by integrating various cutting-edge experimental and computational approaches e.g., single-cell sequencing, RNA-sequencing, lineage tracing, 3D genomics, proteomics and data mining.
The better understanding of the hallmarks will help to gain mechanistic insights into this biological process, characterize and optimize the dynamics and heterogeneity of tumors and identify selective therapeutic window(s) to targeted therapies, immune checkpoint blockade or combination therapy strategies effectively and precisely that ultimately improve patient survival.
