Research Interests

  The research interests mainly focus on the obesity, investigation of pedigrees with diabetes and community-based epidemiology, including clinical and fundamental research on adipose tissue secretory function.

• Biochemical and molecular mechanisms of obesity-related diseases, as well as the secretory function of adipose tissue

• Clinical research on the relationship of early biomarkers with metabolic diseases and cardiovascular diseases, including diabetes and obesity

• Clinical research on the relationship of body fat parameters and glycemic fluctuation metrics with chronic complications of diabetes, including macrovascular and microvascular complications
