Research Interests

  • Basic Research on Tendon Stem Cells and Tendon Damage Repair. In recent years, systematic basic work and research achievements have been made in related fields in the clinical and basic research on the pathogenesis of tendon transplant tendinosis and the treatment of TDSCs. (1) Study on the mechanism of tendon stem cells in tendon repair: overexpression of HMGA2 gene in TDSCs can protect TDSCs from oxidative stress injury, while Nudt21 mediated selective polyadenylation of HMGA2 can induce oxidative damage (Aging) to TDSCs; The autophagy behavior of TDSCs can avoid the destruction of cell dryness caused by oxidative stress by reducing the accumulation of ROS in cells (Cell Physical Biochemim.); Inhibiting the expression of TGIF1 in TDSCs by siRNA promotes the differentiation of TDSCs from tendon cells to osteoblasts (Cell Physiol Biochem.). (2) Research on other mechanisms related to tendon injury and repair: Research shows that the periodic mechanical stretching of tendon fibroblasts can promote the activation of PGE2, thereby inducing autophagic cell death (Cell Physiol Biochem.)
