Research Interests

• I focus on the basic research and clinical translation of major depressive disorder. Based on the hypothesis of oxidative stress and immune inflammation, I have been detecting the peripheral blood markers of major depressive disorder at different levels such as mRNA, miRNAs and proteins. Furthermore, I hope to explore the potential adjunctive effect by targeting on anti-oxidative stress and anti-inflammatory pathway. In recent years, I begin to pay attention to the malignant outcome of depression----suicide. I am developing artificial intelligence tools that can identify suicidal clues in order to apply them to clinical practice.
