Research Interests

• I am currently the associate Consultant of Endocrine and Metabolism Department at Shanghai General Hospital. My main area of interest is diabetic neuropathy, in particular the diabetes-related changes in central nervous system. With advances in the management of traditional complications of diabetes, we are beginning instead to see deleterious effects of diabetes on other organs, such as brain. Based on the advanced multi-model magnetic resonance imaging, I have completed several clinical studies on patients with diabetes and demonstrated structural and functional changes in the early stage of diabetes. I have published 22 original articles (as first author) and received 1.2-million-yuan competitive research funding since 2018.
