Research Interests

• Our research focusing on the following areas: 1. Identification the genetic abnormalities underlying rare diseases. Using omics technology and bioinformatics analysis to identify the causal gene of rare disease. 2. Studying the molecular basis of human genetic disorders, especially genetic bone disease, mitochondrial disease and genetic disorders caused by mutations of aminoacyl tRNA synthetases gene family. Using cell models as well as animal models to mimic disease status and investigate the mechanism responsible for pathophysiological conditions.
