Research Interests

• Our research group focuses on clinical and translational research in the field of pediatric congenital heart disease, and has built a multidisciplinary platform including clinical medicine, biomaterials, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. Our research mainly includes the invention and improvement of various biomaterials, such as tissue engineering small-diameter artificial blood vessels, functional biological mesh, biodegradable endovascular scaffolds, vessels with valves, and antibacterial hydrogels. In addition, we are also committed to the innovation and improvement of surgical methods for pediatric CHD, as well as the repair mechanism of cardiovascular disease-related injuries and corresponding improvement methods and other clinical issues.
