Research Interests

• Major research field of Dr. Shen is pediatric leukemia, both clinical trial and basic research. He focused on risk stratified therapy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and acute myeloid leukemia of childhood. He searched biomarkers and targets for precision treatment of children’s leukemia by mechanism guided systemic biology, including genomics, proteomics and phenomics, and translated findings into clinical practices by clinical trial. He has been leading the Chinese Children’s Cancer Group of ALL (CCCG-ALL), the largest multicenter clinical trial group of ALL in the world, science 2015. With improved survival rate, CCCG-ALL trial gave rise to several important findings.
