Research Interests

Dr. Chen’s research interests include:

1. Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) associated vasculitis (AAV) and its renal involvement, including mechanism of the disease and novel therapeutical targets;

2. Role of mono-macrophages in autoimmune diseases (including AAV and lupus nephritis) and primary kidney diseases;

3. Mechanism of renal fibrosis especially role of TGF-ß and associated inflammatory cytokines, and explore therapeutical strategies,

4. Psychological analysis of medical stuff and CKD patients under stress；
