Research Interests

• Mitochondrial bioenergetics and therapeutic intervention in hypertension

• The research aims to investigate the role of mitochondrial-derived oxidative stress in hypertensive vascular remodeling, and reveal the regulatory mechanisms of mitochondrial metabolism, function and dynamic in vascular wall cells during the progression of hypertension. We conduct drug and exercise intervention studies targeting metabolic and regulatory pathways associated with mitochondrial dysfunction.
