Research Interests
Over the past two decades, elucidation of the genetic defects that underlie cancer has resulted in a plethora of novel targeted cancer drugs. While these agents can initially be highly effective, resistance to single-agent therapies remains a major challenge. My group uses functional genetic approaches to identify powerful drug combinations, new drug targets and mechanisms of resistance to cancer drugs. My major research work has been published in Nature (2021, cover story; 2019), Nature Cancer (2022), Gastroenterology (2017) and Elife (2020) etc.
