Research Interests

1. Bacterial pathogenesis, the long-term goal is to elucidate the mechanism of staphylococci pathogenesis and the regulatory mechanisms involved in quorum sensing, biofilm formation, virulence, and drug resistance, and to provide potential drug targets for treatment of bacterial infectious diseases.

2. Human microbiome and infectious diseases. the long-term goal is to elucidate the molecular mechanism of specific commensal bacteria causing or aggravating specific diseases, and to provide potential of targeted antibacterial approaches for therapy
