Research Interests

• Professor HAO Yong conducts clinical and basic research on autoimmune encephalitis (AE), epilepsy and cerebrovascular disease. Initial progress has been made in AE cohort studies using multimode molecular imaging to assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of prognosis, as well as in long-course immunotherapy real word study. Focuses on clinical diagnosis and treatment, as well as pathogenesis of autoimmune associated epilepsy; build up early molecular diagnosis and precise selection of antiepileptic drugs for drug resistant epilepsy through multi-omics; explore the pathogenesis of familial epilepsy and screening of new drug targets by iPSC. In the future, in addition to the above continued in-depth research. Prof. HAO will develop the relevant clinical research on the targeted treatment of autoimmune encephalitis and cerebrovascular diseases concentrating on inflammatory and autoimmune mechanism.
