Research Interests

• The primary goal of research projects in Feng’s laboratory is to improve our understanding of the molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways of human cancer progression and thus to develop novel approaches for anti-cancer therapies. We have published peer-reviewed papers in top-ranked biomedical journals including J Clinical Investigation, Advanced Science, Nature Communications, PNAS and Blood, Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy. We focus on:

1. Molecular signaling associated with tumor stem cell-driven tumorigenesis and metastasis.

2. Small molecular targeted therapy based on cancer stem cells.

3. Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC)-derived cell therapy and immune therapy.
