Research Interests

• Our research interests focus on the pathogenesis and therapeutic strategies of neuroimmunological diseases including neuromyelitis optica spectrum disease (NMOSD) and multiple sclerosis (MS), and cerebrovascular diseases. Identifying the effects of stem cells in neuroimmunological diseases and cerebral cerebrovascular diseases via experimental and clinical study are also the ongoing topics in our team. In details, human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell (hUC-MSC) and human-derived neural stem cell (hNSC) are adopted to treat NMOSD and ischemic stroke, respectively. Additionally, we seek to establish and optimize the animal models of NMOSD, and the detection technique of acetylcholine receptor (AchR) antibody in myasthenia gravis (MG).
