• Dr. Cao has long been committed to the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders caused by motility disorders, especially in the field of visceral hypersensitivity in the pathogenesis of functional GI diseases. In recent years, she has also conducted a series of studies on the pathogenesis and clinical doubts of inflammatory bowel disease, focusing on the impact of brain-gut axis dysfunction on intestinal inflammation.
