Research Interests

• Professor Peiying Li is the Director of the Clinical Research Center, and Deputy director of Department of Anesthesiology of Renji Hospital. She got PhD degree from the joint program between Fudan University Shanghai Medical College and Pittsburgh Institute of Brain Disorders and Recovery. She has been devoted to the exploration of the neuro-immune interactions. Using both pre-clinical and clinical studies, her research mainly focuses on the roles and regulatory mechanisms of peripheral immune cells and resident microglia following acute brain injuries and perioperative neurological disorders. Her research work has been continuously sponsored with grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), including the Outstanding Young Investigator Program.
