Research Interests

• Dr. HU's team devote to the research on the epidemiology, pathogenesis and early prevention of sarcopenia, and investigate age-related changes in quality and quantity of skeletal muscle in the pathogenesis of metabolic disorders through the combination of clinical research and basic research. Dr.HU had published more than 100 papers and 2 books. She has been in charge of several projects, including 5 National Natural Science Foundation of China and 1 international cooperation project. The project of Basis and Clinical Study of Lipid Metabolism in Metabolic Syndrome she took part in was awarded the first prize of University Natural Science award of Ministry of Education in 2008 and the second prize of National Medical Science and Technology Progress Award in 2009.
