Biography

Dr. Ge Heng, graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 2006 with a medical doctor's degree. Since 2006, he has been working in Renji Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Now he is the chief physician of Cardiovascular Medicine, associate professor and master tutor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. From September 2021, he has been serving as the vice president of the Second People's Hospital of Kashgar, Xinjiang in a 1.5-year project to support Xinjiang district. From September 2010 to September 2011, he was a visiting scholar at the Cardiovascular Center of the University Hospital of Zurich with a scholarship from the Swiss Federal Government. He received training in interventional cardiac surgery and cardiac magnetic resonance examination during the staying. From February to May 2014, he studied transcatheter aortic valve replacement in the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Hospital of the Second University of Lyon, France. And from May to September, 2018, he made studies about cardiac magnetic resonance imaging in the National Institution of health, USA.  He is an interventional cardiologist of coronary heart disease, and structural heart disease as well as critical cardiovascular disease and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. In research, he has presided over 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and 6 provincial and ministerial level projects. He has published 20 SCI papers as the first and corresponding author, with the highest impact factor of 29. He also published one book. He is the member of several academic organizations such as the International Society of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance, China branch, Shanghai Medical Association, cardiovascular disease branch He is also an invited editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging and a reviewer of PLOS One. He has won the third prize of the "Teaching and Educating Award" of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the "President's Special Award" of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.hysician Award" of the Great Wall International Conference on Cardiology (GW-ICC), the "Young Investigator Award" of the Asia Pacific Association of Echocardiography (AAE), and the second prize of the 3rd Shanghai Ultrasound Skills Competition. He participated in the publication of 21 SCI papers. As a co-author, he won the second prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award from Ministry of Education and the second prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award.
