Biography

Diansan Su, Ph.D M.D. Mentor of Ph.D. Vice Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology, Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University, School of Medicine. He Got Ph.D from Shanghai Second Medical University at 2005. The interested research field are postoperative cognitive dysfunction(POCD) and the sedation of gastrointestinal endoscopy. He is the one who firstly found that POCD was mediated by intestinal dysbacteriosis. He finished the first national survey of on sedation for gastrointestinal endoscopy in 2758 Chinese hospitals. He introduced high flow nasal cannular(HFNC) into anesthesia. He demonstrated that HFNC would reduce the hypoxia during gastrointestinal endoscopy procedure sedated with propofol and the it would also reduce the hypoxia incidence during sedated hysteroscopy for assisted reproduction. He get six National Natural Science Foundation of China and hold 19 patents of China.
