Professor and vice director, Department of Nephrology, Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, China

Vice director, Shanghai municipal center for peritoneal dialysis research

Research interests include pathophysiology of peritoneal membrane failure, residual renal function, cardiovascular disease, inflammation and peritonitis. She has published book chapters as well as manuscripts on peritoneal dialysis and kidney diseases in various peer-reviewed journals.

Has won several research awards for her clinical and basic science studies including: National Science and Technology Progress Award, Shanghai Silver Snake Award, etc.

Actively involved in teaching at many levels and has educated medical students, interns and residents as well as practicing Nephrologists.
