Biography

Dr. Lizhen Wang received her bachelor's degree and master's degree in stomatology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in 1995. She has been engaged in clinical pathological diagnosis, teaching and scientific research in the Department of Oral Pathology, Ninth People's Hospital for 27 years, and visited Fukuoka Dental University, University of Maryland and McMaster University, Canada) for short times. She specializes in pathological diagnosis of odontogenic tumors, salivary gland tumors, oral cancer, oral mucosal diseases, etc. In recent years, as the project leader, she has undertaken and completed 4 projects of Shanghai Education Commission and 4 teaching projects, and participated in more than 10 projects including the NSFC. In resent five years, she has published 70 papers in major academic journals, among which 8 are the first author/corresponding author, 6 are included in SCI, 1 monograph is editor-in-chief, and 4 are co-edited. She has been engaged in undergraduate and graduate education in stomatology for 25 years. Currently, she is the deputy dean of School of Stomatology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the deputy director of Department of Oral Pathology. She is an active member in several technical societies, such as vice chairman of Stomatological Education Committee and member of the Oral Pathology Committee of Chinese Stomatological Association, member of Oral Mucosal Disease Committee of Shanghai Stomatological Association, etc.
