Biography

Junmei Zhou, female, master's degree supervisor. Director of the Central Laboratory of Children's Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. She is currently a member of the National Technical Committee for Professional Standardization, a member of the Specimen Bank Branch of China Biotechnology Association, and the Asian Editor of Biopreservation and Biobanking, the official journal of ISBER. He received his undergraduate degree from Tongji Medical University in 1994 and his PhD degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2008. Currently, he is responsible for the management of the central laboratory and biobanking platform. He has a research background in both medicine (undergraduate level) and biology (graduate level). As a translational medicine researcher, his personal research interests are in stem cell and developmental biology; as a research-based sample bank management implementer, he is engaged in standardized construction and management research of sample banks and scientific application research of samples. He has presided over more than 10 research projects at the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education, provincial, municipal and university levels, and has published more than 40 papers, including 20 SCI-indexed papers. He has been granted many patents.
