On the evening of April 6th, the "Great Pediatricians" organized by thecollege of Pediatrics, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Activity was successfully held in the lecture hall on the 2nd floor of Yide Building. Jiang Fan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Medicine at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhou Dong, Deputy Minister of the Party Committee Propaganda Department, and Chen Yiqi,theVice-Dean of the School of Pediatrics, attended the event. Jiang Daiji, an undergraduate student majoring in Pediatrics, served as the host.
This event is divided into two sessions.The first part is a series of interviews with Ranran Xinxing, inviting Chen Yanru, the attending physician of the Department of Neonatology at the affiliated Xinhua Hospital; Zhang Qian, PhD candidate in pediatric cardiothoracic surgery, Shanghai Children's Medical Center; Born in Lian Hu, a master student majoring in pediatrics at the Affiliated Children's Hospital, through interactive interviews with the host, we share with our younger siblings the difficulties and challenges they face in their pediatric studies, work, and life, as well as their emotional journey and true insights.
To be a professional clinical scientist is Yu Lianhu's professional ideal. Faced with the pressure of studying and working during the training period, he was lost; The first time he faced the passing of a child, he cried bitterly. But it was precisely through these repeated experiences that he courageously advanced, recording his emotions in words, summarizing and reviewing, that he found himself constantly growing. From the initial fear of the death of a child to the current calm and composed attitude; From initially feeling uneasy when facing complaints to now being able to calm his emotions and handle them rationally from the patient's perspective, he feels like he has been making progress.
Scientific research requires long-term accumulation and summary. Zhang Qian, who has already achieved remarkable research results, is not blindly proud or lax; She saidshe always be grateful and strive for greater progress and improvement in the future. Zhang Qian shared content such as "How to face unexpected results in scientific research", "How to engage in learning and communication with outstanding predecessors", and "How to find suitable research directions", in order to resolve learning confusion and research anxiety for younger students. She said, "Everyone should be full of expectations for the future, firm in their ideals and beliefs. As long as you have the courage and determination to achieve your dreams, there will definitely be a day of harvest.
Chen Yanru, a NICU attending physician, said: "It's hard to be a pediatrician, but full of love and hope". She has an overloaded work experience of 8 hours attending over 100 pediatric patients; The joy of obtaining a banner for the first time for a cured child; Having accumulated achievements in clinical research, marriage and childbirth without any delay; With firm confidence to carry forward and forge ahead. She said, "Completing small goals and gathering sand to form a tower is an ideal achievement. I hope all the students present can be effective time managers.
The atmosphere at the event was warm and interactive, and Secretary Jiang Fan was infected by the warm atmosphere and also participated in the interview activity. She shared with her classmates the feeling of chest compressions that she couldn't stop during her first rescue. She said, "As the 'senior sister' of my pediatric classmates, I feel very kind.
