Biography

  • YUAN Weijie, Academic leader of Department of Nephrology, Shanghai General Hospital, is a leading scholar of nephrology. He was selected into “Shanghai Leading Talent Plan”in 2016. And he qualified for the State Council Special Allowance.

  • In the past years, he has been awarded four NSF surface projects and another 18 funds. He has published more than 400 papers in authoritative journals in his field, such as American Society of Nephrology, Cell Discovery, and Kidney International. He has been awarded the honor of Chinese medical science and technology(first), 4 items of the PLA general logistics department of science and technology progress prize(first) and other honorary titles.
