Biography
Prof. Qingquan Luo, professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, the Executive Deputy Director of Shanghai Lung Tumor Clinical Medical Center, Shanghai Chest Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
He current research focused on basic and clinical research of thoracic oncology, especially robotic surgery. In 2009, he completed the first case of robotic lung cancer mastectomy in mainland China. At present, he has conducted more than 20,000 thoracic surgeries and more than 2,000 robotic thoracic surgeries. In 2020, he won the title of "Shanghai Medical Craftsman" and "Shanghai Craftsman". At present, he is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons,FACS; Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons, FRCS; vice President of Medical Robotics Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association; member of the expert committee for audit committee of medical technology clinical application, National Health Commission of China; member of the standing committee for Minimally Invasive Surgery Expert Committee, Chinese Medical Doctor Association of Thoracic Surgeons; and executive committee member of China Society of Clinical Oncology. He has presided over the project of "National International Cooperation Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology", "National Health and Family Planning Commission Medical and Health Science and Technology Development Research Center" project, "Shanghai Health Science and Technology Committee" fund, "Shanghai Natural Science Foundation", "National Natural Science Foundation of China" general project, etc. Prof. Luo has published more than 90 representative papers in peer review journals.
