Biography

• Prof. He Ben is the director of the Heart Center and the Department of Cardiology of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Affiliated Chest Hospital, and second-class professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In recent years, he has directed a number of national scientific research projects, including 3 Key Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. As the first or corresponding author, he has published more than 100 peer-reviewed SCI papers, with a total impact factor of more than 500 points and an H-index of 35 points for citations. He has written more than 30 large-scale academic monographs and won many science and technology awards at provincial and ministerial level, including the first prize of Science and Technology Progress of the Ministry of Education.

• Prof. He received a number of honors, including State Department special allowance experts, “China’s Top 10 word-of-mouth doctors”, and “Outstanding Young &Mid-aged Experts” awarded by the Ministry of public Health. He is a pioneering subject leader of Shanghai’s outstanding disciplines, acquiring a reputation as “Shanghai Municipal Leading Expert”, and “Top 10 Doctor in Shanghai”. Widely valued with his academic achievement, he was awarded the Shanghai “May 1stLabour Medal” and won the Shanghai Jiao Tong University Principal Award.
