Biography

• Surgeon-in-Chief of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Affiliated Shanghai Chest Hospital, Director, Receiver of the State Council Allowance, Leader of the National Key Clinical Department. Once Member of Asian Cardiothoracic Association, Member of Chinese Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons, Member of Chinese Medical Doctor Association Shanghai Cardiovascular Surgeons. An experience of nearly 10,000 cardiac operations was obtained. In the field of mitral valve repair, in addition to functional restoration, an investigation into morphological repair was achieved and published in specialized journals such as JTCVS, ATS and EJCTS. Numerous patients with advanced age and complicated congenital heart disease were successfully operated. Other heart valve diseases and thoracic aortic aneurysm were also performed with progressive experience.
