Biography

• Wang Guomin, male, born in February 1956, Ph.D., professor (second grade), doctoral tutor. He graduated from Department of Stomatology, Shanghai Second Medical College in 1980, got Ph.D. in Japan Showa University in 1991, and worked as a foreign researcher in Kobe University, Japan and North Carolina State University in 1995. Since 1997, he has been working in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral and craniofacial Department, Ninth People's Hospital. He focuses on the basic and clinical research, treatment and assessment of cleft lip and palate. He also works as member of Trustee of the International Cleft Lip and Palate Foundation, invited medical experts of Smile Train,，fellow of the International College of Dentists, leader of National Cleft Group (2000-2005), chairman of Speech rehabilitation Committee, Shanghai Medical Rehabilitation Engineering Research Council, Evaluation expert of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Director of Smile Asia, and vice chairman of the Medical Committee. Professor Wang has published 172 papers. He is Chief editor of 3 monographs, He presided and completed 9 national or provincial projects. He won the “the Second Prize of Shanghai Scientific and Technological Progress",”the Third Prize of Shanghai Medical Sciences”.He received the ICPF Humanitarian Award in 2017,and Since 2002, professor Wang enjoyed the State Council government special allowance.
