Research Interests

  • Professor & chief physician, doctoral supervisor of Shanghai Jiaotong University. He is now the director of Department of Ultrasound of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Shanghai Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and 6th People’s Hospital Branch center of Major diseases instrument manufacturing and Testing Technology Engineering research Center of Shanghai Jiaotong University Med-x Institute. He is the entrant of National Hundred Thousand Excellent Academic Leaders Program held by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Society of the People’s Republic of China. He received the state council special allowance certificate and is the expert of Central Health Committee. He is also a recipient of “National Health System exemplary individual”. He is the head of one of 2017 shanghai key discipline and Chief expert of key project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, “Research and Development of digital diagnosis and treatment”.

  • He has served as vice president of the Society of Ultrasound in Medicine of Chinese Medical Association(SUM-CMA), vice chairman of Chinese Association of Ultrasound in Medicine and Engineering, vice-president of ultrasound branch of Chinese medical doctor Association, vice president of Ultrasound in Medicine Committee of Shanghai Acoustic Society, head of medical imaging (ultrasound, nuclear medicine) senior professional title assessment group of the Shanghai Health System, second-round review expert of general and key program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the head of Ultrasound group of standardized resident training.

  • He specialized in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of abdominal, urologic and thyroid diseases, has already guided more than 30 PHD candidates, and has won the second prize of the provincial and ministerial level Science and Technology Progress Award twice and the third prize three times.
