Biography

  • ZHAO Jinzhong, Director of the Sports Medicine Department of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital. He is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of knee ligament injuries, patellofemoral disorders, and rotator cuff injuries and shoulder dislocations, and has been doing over 1,000 operation per year for over 15 years. He has innovated dozens surgical techniques for the functional reconstruction of the shoulder and the knee, in which knee minimal invasive release has been included in the latest three editions of Campbell's Operative Orthopedics. He has published over 80 SCI papers and is the Chief Editor of Minimally Invasive Functional Reconstruction of the Knee (Published by Springer Nature). He undertakes a number of national scientific research projects including (China) State's Key Project of Research and Development Plan and is keen on the development of the repairing devices in the field of orthopedics and sports medicine.
