Biography

• Prof.Yingxuan Chen is the chief physician and doctoral supervisor of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Renji Hospital, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Currently, she is also secretary of Chinese Society Gastroenterology (CSGE), the deputy head of cancer group of CSGE, vice-chairman of Shanghai Society Gastroenterology, vice-chairman of Gastroenterology branch of China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care (CPAM)，vice-chairman of Gastroenterology branch of China Medical Women’s Association，vice-chairman of Gastroenterology branch of China Health & Medical Development Foundation. Prof. Chen also serves as the deputy Editor-in-Chief of J Dig Dis.

• Prof. Chen’s research focuses on the diagnosis, therapy, and prevention of gastrointestinal cancer. She has undertaken 1 project for the National Key Technology R&D Program and 7 projects for The National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has published articles in international peer-reviewed journals as the corresponding author or co-corresponding author, including Cell, Lancet GH, Nat Commun, Oncogene, EBioMedicine, etc. She was involved in compiling the first domestic epigenetic monographs “Epigenetic modification and cancer” and “Epigenetics in cancer” and co-edited “Holistic Integrated Colorectal Oncology”. As a major member, she participated in making the consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of precancerous diseases of gastroenterology in 2011-2021 five times, which was held by Chinese Medical Association.

• Prof. Chen has been selected as an outstanding academic leader in Shanghai and a leading talent in Shanghai. She was awarded by many national and municipal programs, including Second Prize in The National Scientific and Technological Progress Award (twice), First Prize in Shanghai Scientific and Technological Progress Award, First Prize in Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, and First Prize in Science and Technology Award of the Ministry of Education.
