Biography

• Professor CHEN Wantao, Director of Key Disciplines in Shanghai (Phase III) and chief expert of National Key R&D Program. He is currently the director of Shanghai Technology Service Platform of Oral Cancer Samples and Bioinformatics Database, director of Oral Clinical Immunology Department, College of Stomatology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and deputy director of GCP organization of Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. He has obtained National Level Candidates for the New Century Hundred Thousand Talent Project, Shanghai leading talents, Shanghai excellent discipline leaders and other talent projects. He also serves as president of Precision Medicine Branch of National Health Industry Enterprise Management Association and vice chairman of Genetics Branch of Shanghai Medical Association.

• He mainly focuses on the molecular pathogenesis of oral cancer genetics and epigenetics, basic and clinical research of precision medicine based on molecular diagnosis. He has edited 6 text books and presided 14 national projects including 2 key projects of NSFC. He has published more than 110 papers in international journals and won 6 Provincial and Ministerial Scientific and Technological Achievement Awards such as the first prize of Shanghai Scientific and Technological Progress.
