Research Interests

• Professor Sun Kun is an expert in pediatric cardiology and pediatrics in China. He has long been engaged in research on the etiology, imaging diagnosis, interventional therapy of pediatric cardiovascular diseases, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of perinatal and infant congenital heart disease.

• He created a non-invasive diagnostic system for congenital heart disease in fetuses and children, successfully implemented the first intrauterine interventional treatment of severe fetal aortic stenosis in China, pioneered the sequential treatment model for children's congenital heart disease from the fetal stage, took the lead in carrying out the "One Thousand Days in Early Life Programe". He integrated the research, diagnosis and multidisciplinary intrauterine treatment model for fetal diseases, and created In utero pediatrics to provide children with full life cycle health services.
