Research Interests

• The mechanism of musculoskeletal system degenerative diseases

  The research group focused on the important scientific issues of degenerative diseases of musculoskeletal system, found that miR-103a, CEBPα, and miR-146a, etc.  play important roles in osteoarticular degeneration and revealed the mechanisms.

• New strategies for prevention and treatment of osteoarthritis (OA) and osteoporosis (OP)

  The research group developed novel strategies for OA and OP including small -molecule targeted drug, stem cells, etc. by cooperation with pharmaceutical research team, biomaterial research team and company.

• Stem cell-based bone and joint repair

  The research group first labelled articular cartilage stem cells (ACSCs) in vivo, screened out the key regulatory molecule IL-12p40 which damages bone repair of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), promote bone and cartilage formation in vitro and in vivo.
