Research Interests

• A major area of my research interest is the structural and functional studies of key proteins involved in epigenetic regulation. The focus of my research is on the biogenesis, metabolism, and processing of small non-coding RNAs, especially piRNA-mediated gene silencing. We use a combination of genetic, biochemical, and cellular approaches to uncover the molecular mechanism underlying these key proteins. In addition, we have investigated the effect of liquid-liquid separation on RNA-binding proteins in biological processes. Our research has been published in high-profile journals and he has conducted a series of cutting-edge investigations.
