Research Interests

• The research interests mainly focus on the pathogenesis of diabetes, diabetes advanced technologies and diabetes interventions, especially clinical research on continuous glucose monitoring (CGM).

• Cohort studies and cross-sectional studies on the association between CGM metrics such as time in range (TIR) and diabetes-related adverse outcomes including macrovascular and microvascular complications based on a large CGM database

• Clinical trials on CGM, glycemic fluctuations, and early intervention for diabetes

• Early diagnosis models of diabetes and early screening models of chronic complications of diabetes

• Fundamental research on the impact of hepatic cytokines on the regulation of glucose and lipid homeostasis
