Research Interests

• During his career in general surgery, Di has dedicated his service and research mainly to minimally invasive surgery, especially bariatric/metabolic/endocrine surgery. In bariatric surgery, he is interested in the control of diabetes and other obesity-related diseases, the genetic profiles of obese patients and their correlation to post-surgery outcomes, as well as the mechanisms behind metabolic surgery. Other research interests include nosocomial infection control, et al.
